Pentatonic Patterns/Phrases Exercises

Here are a few patterns/phrases using the A minor pentatonic scale in 5th position.
The basic patterns in the pdf files always starts on 1 in the first bar.
When you are familiar with one pattern try starting in other places in the bar. Experiment.
In the Audio Examples you can hear a few ways you can do this:

Start on 2, 3 or 4 in every bar.

In 1st bar start phrase on 1, in 2nd bar start on 2,
3rd bar start on 1 and then alternate...
The phrase ending notes might not always sound the best for the current chord
in the audio Examples.
For example: ending on the note E or G when the chord played is D och D7.
When you have the pattern you work on in your head and fingers, you can change
the ending of the pattern/phrase so you end on "better sounding notes".
Here is an example how you could change pattern 1 to better sounding ending notes
This is of course a matter of taste...
